diversion- entertaining yourself away from real life
personal relationships- building relationships with the sims
personal identity- creating different characters that could represent you

Simple and straightforward with daily quests, a tutorial and rewards. A need for jobs for money and xp

2) What audience is this game targeting?

Aimed at both male and female but slightly leaning towards females due to the clothes selection

3) What audience pleasures does the game provide?

diversion- with a different choice of activities and jobs
personal relationships- through building a community
surveillance- through teaching different life skills and how to make money

The focus on buying items to progress. Adverts in return for crystals and crystals used for 'lets play' which speeds up time. Some elements of product placement

  Reflect on your work in A Level Media so far WWW: Your blog is very nearly 100% up-to-date – the two unfinished pieces (coloured amber on the tracker) should be pretty easy to put right. I really like a lot of your answers on the blog so far – I think you’ve made a good start in Media and show an understanding of the concepts so far. I agree that Media fits well alongside Business and if Breaking Bad is your favourite show then hopefully this is a subject that will treat you well. I also like the fact you’re aiming for an apprenticeship – this is a massive growth area and there will hopefully be some good options when you start applying in Year 13.   EBI: Two areas to improve: firstly, complete the two unfinished pieces of work.
